Which licenses does LIMRO Verify check?
Registered nurse, licensed practical or vocational nurse and APRN licenses in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Michigan, New Jersey, Rhode Island, Texas and Washington, checked against each state licensing agency's own records. Nursing assistants are verified in Washington, Colorado and Rhode Island, home health aides in New Jersey, and social worker and counselor licenses in Washington, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Rhode Island and New Jersey. NPIs are verified with the federal NPPES NPI Registry for every state.
How often are licenses rechecked?
Licenses are rechecked every week and NPIs every 30 days, and right away when you add or change a credential. Washington, Colorado, Connecticut and Delaware are looked up live; Michigan, New Jersey and Rhode Island data is refreshed every night; Texas and California publish their data monthly.
What happens if a license is suspended or has board action?
A suspended, revoked or surrendered license moves the employee to Blocked, so the Scheduling Gatekeeper stops them from being scheduled. Board action, late renewals and conditions send the employee to Review with the details, and your managers are emailed the same day.
Are there extra fees per check?
No. Every verification LIMRO runs is included in your monthly per-employee rate. There are no setup fees, per-check fees or pass-through charges.
What about employees licensed in other states?
Their licenses are tracked with expiration alerts today and verified automatically as more states are added. Exclusion screening and NPI verification already cover every state.
